Hotel was nice, room was spacious and clean. Shower screen didn't fit properly which caused the floor to flood when taking a shower (seal didn't sit on the bath at bottom of screen) Restaurant was nice, food was great and staff friendly. Swimming pool would have been better if I'd been told there was child's swimming lessons going on before going in.

My girlfriend booked us a weekend at the New Lanark Mill Hotel as a Christmas present, and we had a wonderful stay. Stunning location with New Lanark model village right on the doorstep and some beautiful walks along the Clyde. We enjoyed the pool, sauna and gym and had a lovely meal in the restaurant. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I don't have a bad word to say!

What a blessing to arrive in the warmth of this hotel. We had a big room so could do our exercises without bumping into furniture. The swimming pool and sauna were appreciated. The restaurant is a little soulless but the food was freshly cooked and very good.

Was previously a regular visitor but had not returned since Mr Stirrat moved on. We heard he was back so decided to book for the New Year package, staying in a Waterhouse. We cannot write a single negative. The service, from the moment we were allowed to check in early to check out was impeccable. An issue with a window on arrival was reported and the handyman was already at the room rectifying the issue before I walked back! The staff, from front of house, bar staff, housekeeping, maintenance and all others were genuinely cheerful, so helpful and keen to be of assistance; clear evidence of happy and well led workforce. Standard of the room was high; clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Set in the most relaxing environment with the seasonal decoration made it absolutely magical; the village square at midnight of Hogmanay/Ne'erday is a memory we will treasure. Enjoyed it so much, we booked for Easter on checkout! Well done Mr Stirrat, you have a team to be justifiably proud of.

Spa was good apart from damaged bench in sauna which was dangerous. Steam room best I have saw. Too many kids in pool as bubble pool was used like a toddler pool. Rooms were excellent. Meal was nice. Service at breakfast was slow before they took our order. Very nice, clean and friendly hotel and would stay again.

This is a hidden gem of a hotel surrounded by beautiful countryside . We were at the party night , stayed over. Arrived early and the place was busy with all age groups enjoying the carnival rides and a queue to visit the Santa theme attraction. This is local history presented in a unique and interesting way.The general manager introduced himself ....pleasant and chatty, taking time.... other hotels should take note....pleasantries are free and mean a lot Our room was available early , clean with a braw view of the Clyde. Family enjoyed the leisure facilities .... The meal was lovely served by very pleasant staff... our sleep waa pleasant waking up to that lovely view in the morning Many thanks for a lovely weekend The Flemings

We enjoyed a lovely overnight pre christmas stay. The place was beautifully decorated for christmas. The menu in the restaurant was great for dinner and breakfast . The breakfast buffet is continental with hot food cooked to order. The staff were polite and friendly. I had a great experience in the spa with the lovely Shelia and we both enjoyed the pool sauna & steam . The only downside was there wasnt a jacuzzi. We will definately be back. Thank you

Had a fantastic time visiting! The staff were lovely and the rooms were modern. From the moment we entered we were greeted with friendly faces. The restaurant and bar staff would go above and beyond to accomodate us. I will definitely return.
